Thai Optical Group Public Company Limited (TOG) was first established under the name "Thai Polymer Lens Company Limited" on March8, 1991 by the Pracharktam family.
TOG establish for expanding organic lenses production line as the Pracharktam family formerly has mineral lenses business under the name of Thai Optical Company Limited (the subsidiary company), since 1961. TOG distributes both domestic and foreign countries. TOG’s factory is in the area of 20 Rai which locate on 15/5 Moo6,Bangbuathong-Suphanburi Road, Laharn, Bangbuathhong, Nonthaburi Province.
In 2009, TOG bought a land to expand its production capacity. The new 4 storey factory, covering 6,000 square meters of space, and it will use for some production lines which has moved from the old place. TOG has used “Lean manufacturing ” system with production management and estimate that this system will reduce the production costs by 15 % , which can serve the amount of purchasing orders in the future from TOG’s alliances. For the old factory, will be renovated in order to suit the other production lines in 2010.
